🌍🌟 We had a wonderful World Earth Day on Friday 8th May. We chose to hold our celebration on this date so that it coincided with Sir David Attenborough’s 100th birthday, as a way of honouring the incredible work he has done to care for our Earth and its wildlife 🙌
The children took part in a range of fabulous earth-loving activities, including litter picking, planting, and creative art and craft activities, all designed to celebrate and protect our planet. They also made birthday cards for Sir David Attenborough, which are now winging their way to him!
This special day linked beautifully with our school vision of caring, sharing and inspiring, and it was wonderful to see the children so engaged and enthusiastic. A huge thank you to Mrs K Jones for organising and coordinating such a meaningful and successful event 💙 ... See MoreSee Less
